Mating Season

Groundhogs are starting to come out searching for mates. If you see fresh groundhog activity around your home let us know. Groundhogs will burrow under homes and can dig burrows under structures. This can cause settling and in some cases cracked foundations, cracked concrete, or sunken sheds. We can remove them and make the structure groundhog proof.

Juvenile Groundhogs

This time of year is when young, juvenile groundhogs begin to disperse and start leaving their parent’s living quarters. It is very common in the upcoming weeks for a new hole to be dug along your house or shed. Should this happen to you, Tall Timber Wildlife Service can safely remove the little critter attempting to take up residence in your yard. We can help keep adult groundhogs away from your home also.

This woodchuck/groundhog was attempting to reside with a South Greensburg family. Tall Timber Wildlife Service came to the rescue and found him a new place to reside.

It is about the time of year that Tall Timber Wildlife Service begins getting phone calls concerning groundhogs. This crew  from a Greensburg, PA extraction is no exception.

These fat, fluffy fellows will gladly eat your garden for you. If that isn’t enough, they are happy to knaw on your wooden buildings as well. Could this be why they are nick named woodchucks?

Often times groundhogs will borrow under structures causing voids in the gound that can collapse. Typically a groundhog borrow is roughly 6 or more feet deep and contain a latrine for doing their business.

Should you have a groundhog taking up residence near you, Tall Timber Wildlife Service is happy to relocate them finding them a new home.
